Once connected, your battery begins storing energy and providing backup power. You can enroll in Connected Solutions using your Enphase App and start earning rebates.

What is Connected Solutions?

Connected Solutions is a Massachusetts program that pays battery owners for helping to stabilize the grid during peak demand.

Here’s how it works:

During high-demand periods (typically hot summer afternoons or cold winter evenings), your utility sends a signal to your battery.
Your battery releases a portion of its stored energy to help reduce strain on the grid.
You get paid for every event you participate in.

You still have backup power for emergencies. The utility only accesses a portion of your battery during scheduled events, and you can opt out if needed.

Most homeowners earn $800–$1,200 per year through Connected Solutions. That’s $67–$100 per month back in your pocket.

What is the Fixed-Rate Energy Plan?

It’s a modern solar Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) offered in partnership with Palmetto LightReach. You pay a fixed monthly rate for the power your solar panels produce, with no upfront costs, no rate hikes, and full maintenance included.

How is this different from traditional solar leases?

Old leases often had "escalators" that raised your payments by 3% every year. Our plan has a 0% Escalator. The price you pay in Year 1 is the same price you pay in Year 25. Plus, our agreement offers "Free Assumability," making it easier to transfer if you sell your home.

Do I own the system under this plan?

No, LightReach owns the system, which means they are responsible for the performance and maintenance. However, the contract includes a transparent Purchase Option starting after Year 5, so you can buy the system at fair market value if your financial goals change.

Will my monthly payment ever increase?

No. Unlike utility rates which rise unpredictably, or other solar leases that hike up annually, your base rate is locked in. It acts as an "Inflation Shield" for your electricity budget.
